How to Set Up Porsche Connect

Step 1: Register and Activate

Before delivery of your vehicle, you will receive an invitation by E-mail to register with My Porsche. There you are able to create your Porsche ID, that corresponds to your E-mail address, and activate the free inclusive period of your Connect services.

For the next step, you need a pairing code. You will find this after logging in to My Porsche.

An additional registration step is required to use the Car Connect App with Panamera, Macan, 718, and 911 models. Further information can be found at

Step 2: Internet Installation and Pairing
Set up an Internet connection in your Porsche. A SIM card is required for this. In certain countries, a SIM card is already integrated into the vehicle. Of course, you can use your own SIM card.

After your Porsche is connected to the Internet, you can link your vehicle to the Porsche ID account. Make a note of the 8-digit pairing code you find in My Porsche, and enter it in the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) in the vehicle.

Step 3: Configure and Use Services

Many services and functions, e.g. Radio Plus or Navigation Plus, can be used directly in the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) of your Porsche. Other services, e.g. Carfinder, can be configured and managed with the Connect App or in My Porsche. Log into the respective application with your Porsche ID and select the respective function.
