The 2022 Porsche 718 Boxster gives you everything you'd expect from a convertible but with everything else you'd expect from a Porsche. Namely, legendary handling and adrenaline-pumping turbocharged powertrains. Even the base models come with a turbocharged horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine but Porsche lovers will zero in on the optional flat-six. For 2022, two new colors join the Boxster's palette: Frozenberry Metallic and Shark Blue. There's also a bevy of new leather accessories such as key covers and leather floor mats. You can even now have your key fob painted to match your car's exterior paint color. The Boxster, with a turbo 2.0-liter flat-four and six-speed manual, starts at $62,500 and will get you from zero to 60 in 4.3 and reach a top speed of 177 mph. Are you looking to stretch your wings post-quarantine? Then you might love the GTS 4.0 model, a two-seater 2022 718 Boxster convertible with a powerful flat six that produces a head-turning growl starting at $90,000. In fact, there's three engines to choose from: a 300-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter flat-four, a 350 horsepower turbocharged 2.5 liter flat four on the S and a 394-hp 4.0-liter flat-six (on the GTS 4.0). Each version comes paired with a six-speed manual transmission - or you can opt for the seven-speed automatic. With Porsche there's always extras available to improve handling and your overall driving experience. Adaptive dampers and a torque-vectoring rear differential can do just that. But keep in mind that this is a Porsche Boxster - so no matter what model you choose this car drives like no other.
