The 2022 Porsche Cayenne Takes on the Competition in Roswell, GA

There are luxury-level carmakers, and then there's Porsche. Porsche has long stood in a class by itself, delivering the elite level of sophistication and power that drivers around the globe love. At Hennessey Porsche North Atlanta, we're proud to be a part of the longstanding tradition of impeccable craftsmanship that is Porsche, and we're ready to show you around our entire collection and help you understand what makes Porsche vehicles stand out from the crowd.

Take the Porsche Cayenne, for example. Combining the legendary and iconic power of a Porsche in the popular style and spacious design of an SUV, the Cayenne is a popular model for our customers in the Roswell area. But, of course, we know there may be other luxury brand SUVs that are competing for your attention. To illustrate the superiority of Porsche craftsmanship in every turn, here are some highlights and areas where our SUV clearly comes out ahead of the competition.

2022 Porsche Cayenne vs. 2022 BMW X5

  • Standard all-wheel drive. Every trim and engine combination in the Porsche Cayenne lineup gets the added peace of mind of standard all-wheel drive. Our customers love the way an AWD SUV handles and performs, and the way it commands the road when it's rainy or slippery. But the BMW X5 makes all-wheel drive optional, meaning drivers will have to request it special or look for a trim level that has it.
  • Options and configurations. When you've been producing vehicles as long as Porsche has, you learn a thing or two about what drivers want. In the case of the Porsche Cayenne, what drivers want is options and choices. Our impressive SUV has six trim level options, each of which comes with an incredible Porsche powertrain of its own. There are also different choices for exterior style and design with the Porsche Cayenne. But the BMW X5 doesn't have as comprehensive menu of options as the Porsche SUV. It has fewer trims and much fewer powertrain choices.
  • Power and performance. Where both of these SUVs start their lineups off with a base six-cylinder engine and 335 horsepower, the Porsche Cayenne climbs to heights that the BMW X5 cannot reach. That's no surprise considering the Cayenne model's pedigree as a Porsche. Our model, for example, has top-of-the-line power ratings of 541 horsepower and 670 horsepower, depending on the model you choose. But when you opt for the BMW SUV, your top power output that you can look forward to is just 523 horsepower.
  • Standard features. From comfort, to tech, to safety, the Porsche Cayenne also has more of the features and amenities that our customers love than the BMW X5. For example, every trim in the Cayenne lineup has a standard panoramic sunroof, standard wireless Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, and standard parking sensors. But none of these features are listed as standard equipment for the BMW X5. The only exception is the Apple CarPlay, but you have to plug it in with a wire in the X5, as opposed to wireless connection in the Cayenne.
